As a .NET Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to develop software and PC applications to support our electronics development and IoT projects. We are seeking C#/.NET Software Developer to bring value and growth to our strong electrical engineering team. You will be working with a team that is talented and close knit and values collaboration, attention to detail, and thorough communication.


So, what will you be doing as a .NET Software Developer?

  • Work with a team of software and firmware engineers to program and troubleshoot PC software applications that support our various consumer IoT electronics
  • Develop libraries for interoperability with other applications, web APIs, databases, and connected devices
  • Design and implement C#/PC-based test harnesses, unit tests, and functional tests for both traditional software applications and connected IoT hardware devices
  • Develop applications that connect and use external hardware peripherals, such as machine vision cameras, data acquisition systems, electronics lab test equipment, USB oscilloscopes, serial interfaces, and Bluetooth peripherals
  • Design and implement basic user interfaces for internal applications and test harnesses
  • Apply engineering principles and logical problem-solving skills for diverse projects


To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proficient in C#/.NET development
  • Understanding of asynchronous task models (async/await) and multithreading
  • Experience with source code management and related tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with SQL databases


Things we consider a plus:

  • Experience with additional programming/scripting languages such as Python, Rust
  • Experience with Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity
  • Experience with serial protocols, USB HID devices
  • Experience with basic electronics hardware and/or electronics test equipment
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps processes
  • 3-5 years software development experience
